In response to the needs of women and their families, the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade has for more than a decade raised funds and awareness for advancing access to care and finding a cure for breast cancer. Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women. There is a new diagnosis every 3 monitues and a life lost every 14. In recognising this phenomenon the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade has since 1992 through present has raised and awarded more than $585 million in 50 countries worldwide for awareness and education; screening and diagnosis; access to treatment; support services and scientific research.
